Be Joyful Bible Study

Be Joyful by Warren W. Wiersbe is a contemporary biblical commentary on the book of Philippians. It focuses on how to find lasting contentment and joy in Christ regardless of our current circumstances. The book of Philippians is a letter written by the Apostle Paul while he was imprisoned in Rome, underlining the joy we find in all circumstances. Wiersbe explores how true joy is not based on fleeting happiness or earthly possessions. He shares how true joy is found when our focus is on Jesus Christ. 

The book outlines practical ways to stop worrying, recognize "joy-stealers", practice humility, and embrace biblical submission, service, and sacrifice. It is a verse-by-verse walk through Philippians paired with study questions at the end of each chapter for personal application.

The Bible study will meet every Wednesday at 9:00 am, in the Hope Church nursery.
